Road to Seward

The road from Anchorage to Seward is pretty awesome.

it takes about 2-3 hours but double it and catch all the sites.

We found that were were pulling over a lot just to take in the sites of the mountains and lakes that seemed to be everywhere

Still life in a margritta

This was one of the main events. watching the glacier calf

we got within about 1/4 mile of it but could not get much closer as it had started to calf the night before and there was a lot of ice in the water.

I now know what it looks like to the lime on top of the margritta

Telkeetna I am going fishing

So I decided to do some Fly fishing in Telkeetna and Sheila went along with it.

when the guide showed up at 5:00 a.m. he stated that the flow was super high and if we wanted to cancel.  Sheila Went along with it. I was pretty amazed at that.

Hay there is something about a woman in waders.

But I was forgiven when she caught the first rainbow trout, it was her first fish ever.

I also caught one in due time.
